Jonathan B. Krogh, President
Jonathan B. Krogh, President

The Rev. Jonathan B. Krogh is the Founder and President of LAMUS Consulting.  Prior to his creation of LAMUS, Krogh was Executive Director of EPM, a training and consulting firm which also provided pastoral care without charge in a mall-based ministry.

For nearly 8 years Jonathan was pastor of Chicago's Morgan Park Presbyterian Church.  As pastor, his work included the celebration of the congregation's centennial and the unexpected responsibility of leading the congregation after a devastating fire gutted a large portion of the church buildings in December 1992.  Perhaps Krogh's greatest accomplishment at Morgan Park was to transform a declining congregation "in transition" into the largest bi-racial congregation in the Presbyterian Synod.

After leaving Morgan Park, Krogh was appointed Interim Director of Field Studies and Instructor for preaching, ministerial formation, and pastoral administration at the Divinity School of the University of Chicago.  Following his work at the University, he served as Deputy Director of Protestants for the Common Good, a state-wide educational and advocacy organization.  In addition, Krogh has presented at numerous seminars and workshops on leadership training, communication skills, diversity awareness, and not-for-profit administration.

Krogh also served as Director of Mission for Chicago's historic Fourth Presbyterian Church, he was adjunct faculty for the Chicago Metropolitan Center where he taught courses on the relationship between Christian values and vocation.  Krogh has presented for the Life Services Network annual convention and for the past six years has been a featured speaker for The Governor's Conference on Aging and the Illinois Association of Groundwater Professionals. .

He is currently serving as pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Peotone, and adjunct faculty at Joliet Junior College.  Krogh has also been a guest speaker for various programs including:

University of Chicago Divinity School Lecture Series,
S.C.U.P.E. Urban Ministry Congress
Illinois Campaign for Political Reform
Center for Not-for-Profit Tax Law, and
Chicago Tonight with John Calloway.

Krogh, an ordained
Presbyterian (USA) minister, holds a BA in Sociology, an MA in Religious Studies and Masters of Divinity with a concentration in not-for-profit management, all from The University of Chicago.  He is also author of The Joshua Factor: Leadership Principles from an Ancient Warrior.

Danette Wade Krogh, Exec. VP Senior Programs

A native of Chicago, Danette Krogh discovered her passion for senior services while working as the Human Resources Facilitator for Salem House of Lutheran Social Services of Illinois.  In human resources, Danette coordinated the employer benefits and services for home care assistants, individuals who provide non-medical assistance to seniors who are able to remain in their homes.  Danette became aware of not only the need for the services provided, but also the degree to which both private and public social service agencies fail to provide adequate assistance for the elderly in our communities.

Receiving her Ph.D. Ms Krogh originally trained as a psychologist and worked with children and adolescents.  Now working at the other end of the age spectrum Krogh enthusiastically embraces her vocation in senior care.  Danette returned to school in 2003 to receive her certification in Gerontology from the University of Illinois, Urbana & St. Louis University.

From 1999 to 2007, Ms. Krogh was program director of Salem House, located at 74th and Prairie Avenue on the south side of Chicago.  During her tenure as director, Salem House received numerous awards including several Illinois Homecare Assistant of the Year awards and three Supervisor of the year awards.

Danette is past president of the Illinois Association of Community Care Program Homecare Providers, an organization which links in-home-care programs for seniors who qualify for state assistance.

Prior to joining LAMUS, Danette was program director for homecare at Catholic Charities of Chicago.

Danette has also presented at the Illinois Governor's Conference on Aging for nine consecutive years providing the key-note luncheon address in 2002.  A former cabinet member of the Life Services Network, Ms. Krogh travels extensively across Illinois providing workshops, conferences, and and consultation for Home Care Aide programs.  She remains dedicated to promoting the priority of care for Illinois citizens who have worked and contributed, and now in the sunset of life deserve our gracious best.
